The Creative Safari #16

Hey Friends,

I hope you are doing well as always. It's been a fun week with a bunch of creative projects in the works and I’m gearing up for some fun travels ahead. My team and I got some great news yesterday that my track In The Game with Madalen Duke was confirmed for a trailer for Top Class Tennis (see below). We won’t be announcing it till later next week although I wanted to share with you guys first! The song isn’t released yet but feel free and stream it here until it drops next week!

I also started sharing some reels on IG, one being a quick story of how I got into trailer music through my Dad’s journeys in the Amazon doing Ayahuasca. Some of you may be familiar with that story and some may not, you can check it out below as well!

I’ve had some messages regarding Master & Publishing rights from some folks in this community, and they mentioned how they were still a bit confused by the concept and terminology. With a goal of simplifying it, I'm going to make this week’s discussion as short and sweet as possible to help everyone grasp the concept!

This Week’s Discussion

Top Class Tennis Placement:

How I Got Into Trailer Music In 60 Seconds:

New Personal Blog Post:

This one is an interesting topic.. AI.. We’ve discussed it here before a little, however I've yet to encounter something like this in my life, we're on one hand it is so interesting and insightful, and on the other hand so terrifying. In the blog below, I discussed a positive take and random interesting (and nerdy) things I have found. Don’t worry, I’ll do a follow up with all my fears coming soon.

New Rareform Audio Blog:

A while back I did a blog called How to Speak Music in Visual Media where I break down the different aspects of a song to help give context and proper words to use when collaborating on projects. This was inspired from working with many visual storytellers, trying to bring their ideas to life, yet in order to communicate them properly we need the right tools (words and understanding). All of that being said, my team and will be doing individual blogs about each category, so please see below for the specific blog about Mood.

Tool of the Week: Beehiiv

I previously mentioned Beehiiv on here in the past as I use it for this newsletter, however I wanted to share a new blog with some more details!

That’s it for this week!

I’m hyped to have you along for the ride!

-Nathan
