The Creative Safari #6

Hello Friends,
Nathan here with your weekly dispatch. We’ve had all sorts of exciting things happen this week from confirming our sound design in multiple trailer campaigns such as Shogun, Madam Web & Boy Kills World, to a number of music placements confirmed for various advertisement and trailer campaigns. Check out this spot for Toyota Racing featuring my track Square One, and hopefully I’ll be able to announce more publicly next week!
This week’s discussion I dive into some important pillars of success in sync and I even share at the end a specific style of music that my team and I area looking for. I might decide to do this at the end of each of the discussions moving forward since such a large percentage of the community here are in the sync space!

Madalen Duke: Soundtracks for Finding Your Inner Strength
Check out the quick write up and interview with Madalen Duke on our blog, written be Harmony from our team. You may have heard some of Madalen’s and my unreleased music in last weeks newsletter and I wanted to mention her new track Snakeskin slaps!
Quote of the week: “Creating music is like painting with sounds. Each piece is a color, each note a brushstroke, blending together to create something that speaks to the soul.”
Tool of the Week
Super Greens
An affordable green drink! I know this is a bit left-field and not directly related to music, but I believe that our health is our number one asset. Today, I want to share something that has significantly impacted my daily routine and overall well-being—something that might just do the same for you, especially for those of us who need sustained energy for creative projects (and not breaking the bank)
Productivity Hack of the Week
Wim Hof Breathing Technique
This one isn’t your typical “hack” although it is part of my daily regiment that has has a big impact regarding my wellbeing, productivity and overall health. I’ve been doing this breathing technique almost every day for the last 3 years and my immune system has been functioning so much better sense. It has become one of my favorite parts of my day and especially helps me reset when I’m shifting gears between projects. Disclaimer: be sure to do it lying down or sitting down, and not in the water or driving as you may get very light headed, especially when you first start doing it.
Nathan Out!
I appreciate you! Check again next week :)
