Custom Music, Hearing Loss + A Working Man!

The Rareform Rundown #55
Hello Friends,
Nathan here, this week I’m keeping things brief as I’m currently taking some time off (and I encourage you to check out once in a while as well).
I’m exited to share some recent projects we had the privilege to work on, some insight on hearing loss as well as the importance of custom music in advertisements.
Let’s get on with it!

New projects + music we are looking for
PROJECTS
Super hyped to hear our track All Worlds Collide by Erick Bolivar in this spot for A Working Man! Big thanks to everyone who helped make it happen.

Most musicians don’t think about hearing loss until it starts affecting them, but by then, it’s usually too late. Studies show that 40% of music industry pros deal with noise-induced damage, yet a lot of people still skip hearing protection. Whether it’s long nights in the studio, live shows, or just constant exposure to high-volume sound, the risk is real.
To help, Sweet Relief Musicians Fund and Sweetwater launched The Hearing Health Fund, providing support for those dealing with hearing-related issues. Once your hearing is damaged, there’s no fixing it, which is why early prevention is so important. If you're in music for the long haul, protecting your ears should be a priority.
We broke it all down in our latest blog. Give it a read.

Music in advertising is the thing that pulls people in, sets the mood, and makes a brand feel like more than just a name. Stock music is everywhere because it’s quick and easy, but that’s exactly why it blends into the background. It wasn’t made for a brand. It wasn’t made to stand out.
Custom music is different. It gives a brand something nobody else has, something that instantly feels like them. Just like a great logo or a signature color, a unique sound becomes part of a brand’s identity. It’s not just about what people see, it’s about what they remember.
We took a deep dive into this in our latest blog. Give it a read.

That’s it for this week!
