New projects + music we are looking for
PROJECTS
Hyped to be part of the Superman campaign once again, this time with our sound design featured. Big thanks to the team at Warner Bros. for bringing us in!

We’re hyped to share the soft-launched Rareform Instruments, the division of Rareform Audio focused on tools for music producers and composers. We dropped our first pack, Echelon, a few months back as the first of many to come.
We recently launched a dedicated Instagram page — follow @rareforminstruments on Instagram to stay in the loop on upcoming products and much more to come.

AI-generated music is showing up more and more in creative work, and a new study is giving us some real data on how people actually respond to it. Turns out, the emotional impact might be stronger than you’d think.
In this blog, we take a look at the study’s findings and what they could mean for music in film, TV, and beyond.

The Mamuna are a small tribal community living deep in the rainforest of South Papua. A recording of one of their songs made its way out into the world, and it’s unlike anything most of us are used to hearing.
There’s no production, no instrumentation, no performance energy. Just layered human voices moving in and out of time with one another. It’s raw, steady, and grounded. A kind of harmony that feels less like it’s being performed and more like it’s always been there.
This blog takes a closer look at that song, its possible meaning, and the deeper role voice plays in communities like this where sound doesn’t just fill space, it holds memory.

That’s it for this week, I appreciate y’all!
