The Rareform Rundown #18 (FKA The Creative Safari)

Big Update!

The Creative Safari has changed it’s name!

Hello friends,

Nate here. I’m excited to introduce the new incarnation of The Creative Safari—welcome to The Rareform Rundown. TCS started as a newsletter chronicling my journey, evolving with input from the community. As it developed, it focused on music, media, and sync licensing, heavily influenced by my company Rareform Audio. Many of you have followed the creation of Rareform over the years and have had a lot of questions about it, and wanted to hear more about it, leading to more and more Rareform content creation and well… Eventually the newsletter name didn’t seem fitting anymore! That being said, it felt like the perfect time to rebrand into something more cohesive amidst my different endeavors, and a more defined focus!

What I love about this transition is how it mirrors the creative process and entrepreneurship. Every endeavor starts with a plan and a leap of faith. As you gather feedback and learn, you adapt, and the mission evolves and gets more defined. This rebrand reflects our growth and opens up new possibilities for our newsletter, emphasizing the Rareform Audio ecosystem as a whole, including our trailer music publishing company, Black Sheep Music, and personal discussions from myself acting as one section of the growing number of categories that we’ll be touching on.

For this week’s discussion I wanted to talk about the rebrand. Next week, I’ll dive into more discussions on sync licensing and answer some more community questions!

That’s the update. Now, let’s get on with the rest!
