The Rareform Rundown #19

Hello friends,

Nathan here, this week I’m excited to share some new projects the team and I worked on, some insights into film scores and their impact on movies, along with a discussion about a question I received regarding what to do after landing a sync placement.

Let’s get on with it!

New projects to announce + music we are looking for!

Check out my track “Ambush” in this spot titled “Let It Rain” for Toyota Racing!

I’m hyped to share we got confirmation that our Black Sheep Music sound design was used throughout the campaigns for The Watchers and Kingdom of the Plant of the Apes! Check out the trailers below!

My team and I are currently looking for Afrobeat tunes to have in the archive and pitch to our clients, especially ones with vibey sync friendly vocals over top. If you are anyone you know makes music in this vein, feel free and drop a reply to this newsletter with a link!

This week I chat about where to look after landing a placement in order to find the footage with your music so you can share on socials, along with the process (and challenge) of claiming placements to get your royalties. We are always looking for better processes too, so if you have any personal tips feel free and share and we can share in a future newsletter!
