The Rareform Rundown #23

Hello Friends,
Nathan here! This week we have some very important things to share that go beyond our regular topics of music, media and sync, although we’ll still be sharing the proper industry update.
Without any further delay, I’m going to get right into it.

Helping to protect the Amazon rainforest!
I'm excited to share a cause that is deeply important to our hearts at Rareform Audio and Black Sheep Music: Junglekeepers. Junglekeepers is dedicated to protecting the Amazon rainforest, particularly the Las Piedras River corridor in the Peruvian Amazon. Their rangers patrol and safeguard nearly 77,000 acres, combating threats like illegal logging and poaching. In the very short term, they’re currently raising funds to protect a specific piece of land, and we’re thrilled to have contributed $10,000 toward this effort. We’re very close to reaching the goal, but ongoing support is essential to protect the Amazon beyond this particular patch of land that was about to be destroyed.
You might recall my recent post about how I got into trailer music, inspired by a woman my dad met during an ayahuasca retreat in the Amazon. That experience had a profound impact on my life and career so it’s an absolute honor that my team and I are able to help give back to the same rainforest that sparked that connection. All that being said, regardless of those personal experiences, the lungs of our planet really are in danger and need our help. I write this to inspire as many folks as possible to donate, even $5 makes a difference when numbers of people come together for a cause. Please join us in supporting Junglekeepers and their vital mission.
Lastly, I wanted to give a huge thanks to our clients for supporting us so that we could help contribute to the purchasing and protection of forest, it’s a team effort.
